Palm Canyon Digital is a boutique web design company specializing in websites for small to medium-sized business entrepreneurs who want simple, elegant websites that work.

My websites are built on the Wix platform. Each one is designed to your specific needs and style. Every website includes a consultation on strategy and messaging; design development and production; search engine optimization (SEO); help with domain purchase and hosting; AND an initial maintenance package (since there are always some changes after launch). Copywriting is available as an additional option.

My goal is to create a website that shows off your work but doesn’t compete with it. I strive to provide an enjoyable and easy experience for the viewer.

I help you figure out what you want your site to do and how it should look and feel.

Once you've gathered your assets (copy, images, logo, etc.) I begin the fun of designing and creating your site.

I also optimize the site to be sure it's mobile friendly.

ABOUT

I spent the past 30+ years as an award-winning video producer/director.

In 1990 I co-founded Osprey Communications which specialized in creating video programs, interactive programs and websites. Our clients included advertising agencies, large and small corporations, pharmaceutical companies, and not-for-profits. In 2008 Osprey was acquired by WPP/Grey Group, where I remained until 2014.

My strong visual sense and understanding of storytelling and production, along with my experience as a small business owner, provided a natural transition into the world of web design. While working on a website for my wife Page McBrier, a children’s book author, I discovered the Wix platform and designed my first website. In my previous life, I supervised a web design team that included a project manager, art director, interactive designer, user experience expert, technical director and programmers. Yikes! Now I do all that myself. What a change. I love it.

In 2016, I became a Wix Certified web designer and started Palm Canyon Digital to create websites for solopreneurs, small and medium size companies.
